Get the Best Pollution Monitoring Ever, Reliably and Environmentally Friendly

Worldwide government agencies, public and private organisations, continuously monitor levels of atmospheric pollution. Thousands of air quality analysers already in use are often direct or indirect source of pollution: high energy consumption, use of rare minerals and polluting materials.

If innovation is the heart of its strategy, the sustainable development and environmental impact reduction are part of Environnement S.A’s (France) day to day life. In 2010 already, the company achieved its carbon footprint in accordance with ADEME’s procedure. Building on this achievement and experience of extensive eco-design processes since 2007, the launch of 4 eco-designed ambient air analysers (O3, CO, NOx and SO2) takes Environnement S.A a step forward to the leading edge of measurement technology incorporating features which provide productivity gains for operators through innovative features and design while importantly remaining environmentally friendly.

The measurement modules of the e-Series are fitted in closed cell expanded polypropylene foam (EPP). This exclusive “inside the box” foam modular concept makes the product more robust, power saving, quieter in operation, simpler to service and eco-friendly.

Heavily polluting components have been fully eliminated within the e-series. As an example, the O342e is the 1st ozone analyser on the market which does not use Mercury lamp as excitation source.

The e-Series is fully compliant with ROHS and Ecodesign directives. As the lifetime energy use and environmental aspects have been taken into account during the conception and design phases, over 95% of each analyser can be recycled.

The analysers are very compact, lightweight and have a low carbon footprint: up to 82% less than other criteria pollution monitor on the market. The electrical consumption of the analyser is further reduced and the additional pollution related to the screen manufacturing and recycling cycle is avoided.

The e-Series also benefit from highly reduced power consumption: less than 80% compared to other analyser on the market!

Thanks to the ESA Connect user interface as well as the on-board wireless connectivity allows the easiest remote, simultaneous multichannel viewing and control of the monitor from any PC, tablet or smartphone, without cables and without need of being in front of the instrument. Consequently, the standard version of the e-Series analysers is proposed without screen: the electrical consumption of the analyzer is further reduced and the additional pollution related to the screen manufacturing and recycling cycle is avoided. Energy related gains may well reach 20,000 kWh over 10 years per analyser (which is not to be neglected when one has a large fleet of equipment!). But the majority of customer benefits and economic gains come from the predictive maintenance potential: each analyser includes self-diagnostic system and even guides the service operations! These smart, connected instruments engendering important time savings on interventions, reduced equipment downtime, an optimised spare parts stock, less training needs while creating efficiency… will simply make your life easier.

With the e-Series, Environnement S.A unleashes a new era of competition: the significant challenge of achieving the best metrological performances while being environmentally friendly has been reached with the e-Series.
