Spark-Free Cabinets with Explosion-Proof Interior
Mar 04 2011
The latest guidelines for laboratories, BGR 120, state that interiors in which dangerous, explosive atmospheres can develop, must be explosion-proof. These explosive atmospheres can, for example, be generated by flammable liquids which have been discarded.
The Lovibond® spark-free cabinets from Tintometer (Germany) meet these requirements in full. Their interiors contain no sources of sparks and are therefore explosion-proof. The cabinet temperature can be set continuously from +2 °C to +10 °C and is constantly controlled by a room thermostat. Defrosting is automatic and is electronically regulated. The structure is made up of a steel panel housing with an impact-proof, bump-resistant powder paint coating. The interior is made of high-strength, durable plastic.
Lovibond® laboratory refrigerated cabinets are supplied in different sizes, offering capacities of 180, 260, 360 and 500 litres.
