New FTIR Spectrometer Offers High-Performance Solutions for System Integrators and Engineers

Designed to meet the broadest range of process analytical and environmental gas applications, the new Thermo Scientific (USA) Nicolet iG50 FTIR spectrometer is a rugged analyser that allows system integrators and process engineers to deploy FT-IR across industrial sites. Due to its research-grade spectral performance, the Nicolet iG50 spectrometer is designed to provide reliable measurements in the most demanding applications, including the rapid and simultaneous measurements of multiple gases, liquids or film samples. The Nicolet iG50 spectrometer builds upon the award-winning Thermo Scientific Nicolet iS50 FT-IR laboratory spectrometer.

Key applications include: process liquid and gas measurements; volatile organic compound (VOC) analysis; continuous emission monitoring (CEM), and at-line film analysis.

The main features and benefits of the Nicolet iG50 FTIR spectrometer  include the  following - Modular design: Easily customisable analyser for integration into process monitoring systems; durable construction: Rugged, stainless steel construction provides the durability needed for demanding industrial plant environments; High performance: High resolution, sensitivity and speed deliver fast,  accurate results; and Continuity from lab to plant: Common formats and workflows enable lab support for troubleshooting.
