Thermo Fisher Scientific has columns to help lab professionals accelerate analysis. Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ IonPac™ AS32-Fast-4µm Analytical and Guard Columns offers fast analysis of polarizable anions with a simple, isocratic eluent (HPIC system required). This column can be used for polythionates (dithionate, trithionate, and tetrathionate), persulfate, polysulfonated aromatic dyes, and pigments in complex matrices, and resolves perchlorate in high sulfate matrices.
We also launched the Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ IonPac™ AS30 Analytical and Guard Column for the analysis of oxyhalides and inorganic anions in the presence of ethylenediamine (EDA)(HPIC system required). This column is best for analyzing trace bromate in drinking water preserved with ethylenediamine, the analysis of drinking water without pretreatment or concentration, and resolves carbonate and sulfate.
For faster analysis of nine haloacetic acids, bromate, and dalapon in drinking water prior to mass spectrometry detection, we launched the Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ IonPac™ AS31 Analytical and Guard Columns (HPIC system with low temperature detector compartment required). The column offers 39% shorter run times relative to the Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ IonPac™ AS24 column, reducing U.S. EPA Method 557 run time from 57 min to approximately 35 min.
For sample preparation, the new Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ Guardcap™ AEX vial caps enable easy inline removal of anions and particulates from samples and neutralization of acidic samples. Dionex Guardcap AEX vial caps contain strong anion-exchange resin in the borate form embedded in a high-density polyethylene filter matrix and are designed to be used with 5 mL Dionex PolyVials in Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ AS-DV autosamplers. Use them with reduced volume sample transfer lines to maximize the capacity of Dionex Guardcap AEX.
