Group Business Development Director for Sypol

Leading workplace and eco risk advisor, Sypol, is delighted to announce the appointment of Martin Smith as Group Business Development Director of Sypol Holdings Ltd. Martin brings with him over 18 years of business compliance experience in the market information and consulting markets, working nationally and internationally for both corporate and not-for-profit organisations.
Martin’s new role will concentrate on organic growth strategies including consulting and online product and service development as well as taking a leading role in the acquisition growth strategy.
Martin’s professional background in compliance services include Managing Director of Croner, the business information and consultancy provider where he was responsible for their print and online information services and their consulting businesses streams. In addition he led the team that secured the acquisition of GEE Publishing. Previous experience also includes Commercial Director at British Standards (BSi), Publishing Director and INSPEC General Manager for the Institution of Engineering and Technology and Publishing and Business Development Director for GEE.
