    New, user-friendly environmental monitoring software provides comprehensive solution for visualizing real-time data

    Syft Technologies has announced the release of SyftEnviro environmental monitoring software. It is a comprehensive solution for visualising environmental monitoring data collected during real-time mobile monitoring campaigns. SyftEnviro software provides an integrated interface for collecting, mapping, and analysing environmental data. Quantitative SIFT-MS data can be geospatially mapped and visualised while on the move in a mobile lab and later compared to historical data. This user-friendly software integrates all analytical data from environmental surveys and includes an interface for data visualisation, instrument control, and status updates.

    SyftEnviro is designed for non-technical users to operate with ease and requires little training. It enables emission sources to be pinpointed from real-time SIFT-MS data that is geospatially mapped. Multiple compounds can be displayed simultaneously in order to compare emissions across an environmental survey. Individual compounds can be investigated more thoroughly, and areas of high concentration visualised through a customisable colour gradient displayed in either heat map or histogram format.

    SyftEnviro system control is designed with an intuitive interface for non-technical users to schedule analysis methods easily, view system status, confirm GPS connection, and set alarm triggers. It features comprehensive scheduling that includes SIFT-MS methods, delays, loops, and the Performance Tune maintenance procedure. GPS sensors are easily configured, and connectivity is automatically confirmed by the software. Alarm states are built into the platform, and performance parameters are displayed in real time.

    SyftEnviro software perfectly complements the SIFT-MS mobile van solution that delivers real-time data during environmental monitoring campaigns. SIFT-MS has been used by environmental agencies worldwide in applications such as fenceline monitoring, ambient air measurement, and mobile monitoring. It is designed with speed of analysis, ease of use, and system-to-system reproducibility in mind.
