Precise and dependable analytical instruments for the determination of mercury, arsenic and selenium in environmental and food samples

PS Analytical (PSA) offers a range of innovative solutions for the determination of mercury, arsenic, selenium, antimony, and bismuth in various sample matrices, including environmental and food and beverage samples. The presence of these toxic metals in their various forms is of real concern, and PSA is dedicated to providing powerful tools to address these concerns.

The determination of both total and speciated chemical forms is becoming increasingly necessary, generating further analytical challenges of sensitivity, selectivity, and freedom for interferences. PSA recognises these challenges and has developed analytical instruments that take these factors into account while providing the user with ease of use, reliability, and robustness, as well as very affordable running costs.

PSA has been a leader in the industry for over 30 years, with Atomic Fluorescence Spectroscopy (AFS) coupled with either cold vapour generation or hydride generation as their core competency. The addition of analyte separation capability, which allows for speciation studies, gives PSA an edge in the market. PSA offers powerful tools to help address concerns such as the separation of methyl mercury from inorganic mercury in water, shellfish, seaweed, dairy products, vegetables, and grains, and the determination of inorganic arsenic from less toxic organo-arsenic species in water, rice, seaweed. Crucially, PS Analytical have support networks across North America, Europe and Asia and thousands of their systems are in operation, so customers enjoy the level of service, quality and back up that PSA is renowned for all over the world.
