Environmental Laboratory Eliminates 9 Manual Analysis Stations and Liberates 10 meters of Bench Space

MANTECH (Canada) is a manufacturer of automated multi-parameter, titration, BOD and COD laboratory instruments. An Environmental Laboratory optimised their return on investment and eliminated nine (9) manual analysis stations and liberated 30 feet or 10m of laboratory bench space by investing in MANTECH’s TitraSip SATM.

The laboratory had 3-5 samples per day, but 9 parameters per sample were taking 8 hours per day of technician time. A significant amount of laboratory bench space was required; as a result the laboratory was planning a renovation or expansion to accommodate additional laboratory equipment. The methods employed on the systems had to be proven and follow Government Approved Methods.

The sample would be collected and sent to the lab requiring multiple sample handling and pipets at different stations; the environmental laboratory must generate high quality results that can be trusted.
