Major Innovation in Oxygen Sensing at Sensor + Test
May 09 2011
Gas sensor manufacturer City Technology (UK) will be unveiling its new 4OXV oxygen sensor at this year’s Sensor + Test exhibition in Nurnberg, Germany, on 7-9 June (Stand 482, Hall 12).
Extensive development testing has proved that 4OXV consigns the problems of false alarms and premature device failures to history - a major advancement for the life safety industry. It moves the reliability, stability and overall performance of electrochemical oxygen sensing to a new level, enabling instrument manufacturers to offer users unparalleled confidence over the full life of the sensor, reducing costs and reinforcing trust in the technology.
Also featured on the booth are City’s latest versions of the Sensoric range of liquid electrolyte toxic gas sensors, which offer improved output stability, responsiveness and performance in the aggressive environments of the semiconductor and photovoltaic converter manufacturing industries. Sensoric sensors are manufactured at City’s German centre of excellence in Bonn, which is set to celebrate its recent 20th anniversary.
City’s latest sulphur dioxide sensor, the 4S Rev.2, completes the portfolio of new products launched at the show. The 4S Rev. 2 sensor maximises performance and prolongs operating life by delivering a faster response time, market-leading baseline stability, enhanced resistance to humidity shocks and an optimised H2S filter.
