Environmental Multimeter for All of Your Needs
Jan 14 2015
Rugged, waterproof, and portable, the HI9829 is a multiparameter meter designed for harsh environments; this makes it ideal for measurements of lakes, rivers and seas. The microprocessor-based intelligent multisensor probe can measure water quality parameters such as:
- pH
- ORP
- Conductivity/TDS/Salinity/Seawater Specific Gravity
- Dissolved Oxygen
- Turbidity
- Temperature
- Resistivity
- ISE: Ammonium (NH4+), Nitrate-N (NO3--N), Chloride (Cl-).
Optional GPS allows for position accuracy of 10m (33ft) with a built in 12 channel GPS receiver. GPS coordinates are viewed on the screen and can be downloaded to GoogleTM Maps.
Easy to set up and easy to use, the meter features a graphic, backlit LCD that scales digits to display up to 12 parameters simultaneously and allows full configuration of each parameter measured along with on-screen graphing.
Autonomous logging probes can log data for up to 70 days with all channels logging at 10 minute intervals. Up to 140,000 samples, or 35,000 complete data sets, can be logged. Data can be password protected to avoid unauthorised access.
Other key features include:
- Waterproof protection for meter and probe;
- IP67 - 30 minute immersion at 1m depth;
- IP68 - continuous water immersion;
- 2” probe diameter is ideal for wells and pipes;
- ISO 7027 compliant turbidity sensor;
- Log to probe or meter;
- Inputs for 3 sensors:
- pH, pH/ORP, or ISE
- EC or EC/Turbidity
- ?DO - Auto-recognition of all sensors;
- Fast Tracker™ Tag I.D. System simplifies periodic monitoring;
- Features a built-in barometer for DO compensation;
- Quick Calibration calibrates pH, EC, and DO using one solution;
- USB for PC connectivity and data transfer;
- Good Laboratory Practice feature with last five calibrations recorded; and
- Meter accepts both alkaline and rechargeable batteries.
