Web Browser for Water and Environmental Measurement
Apr 25 2011
FF-Automation (Finland) has designed remote monitoring and controlling system for surface and groundwater quality measurements which includes intelligent outdoor measurement logging devices and web based user interface.
The AutoLog® WaterMan gives logged measurements which are transferred through GSM network to AutoLog WaterMan Web Server. Users can log in to server using normal Web browser, whilst the position and status of the measurement devices can be seen on the dynamic Google map. Measurement device data can be seen as historical trends, bar graphs or other dynamical graphic presentation, allowing for data to be read or linked to other databases for further analysis.
The user can define alarm limits for parameters with warning messages being sent immediately to Web server and defined GSM phones or e-mails. Personal sensors and actuators can be used with the web browser or these can be provided by FF-Automation. The system can be maintained remotely, including the addition of new measurement devices and device programs and determination of alarm limits.
FF-Automation can provide full training and support for the system, which has the versatility to be used to monitor and control any application through GSM network such as water pumps, irrigation and flood detection systems.
