Accelerate your lab’s journey from sample to vial
Oct 26 2022
Achieve true walkaway sample-to-vial sample preparation with the Thermo Scientific™ EXTREVA™ ASE™ Accelerated Solvent Extractor, increasing productivity, reducing errors, and minimising the resources required for laboratories performing environmental, food, and biopharmaceutical testing.
Sample extraction, in-cell clean-up, and evaporation can all be performed without any intervention, in one seamless operation, reducing manual labour from hours to minutes.
The EXTREVA ASE Accelerated Solvent Extractor offers all-in-one sample preparation: automatic extraction and concentration of samples, eliminating the need to manually move sample extracts to another device for solvent evaporation. This walk-away solution minimises hands-on sample preparation tasks, enabling staff to focus on other lab priorities.
This system also provides a significantly higher throughput thanks to its parallel extraction, whereby four sample extractions can be performed in parallel; it also offer a dynamic gas-assisted extraction mode to reduce solvent consumption to between 5 and 100 millilitres per sample, in most cases.
The EXTREVA’s automation improves recoveries and reproducibility while reducing training needs and minimising errors; it also offers users method flexibility and optimisation: up to six different solvents can be used and precise flow control optimises methods. Sample information and preparation parameters are tracked using a 2-D bar code reader to facilitate tracking and integrity.
