Avantes Starts New Office in United Kingdom

Avantes (Netherlands), an instrumentation provider in the field of fiber optic spectroscopy, announces the start of Avantes (UK)Ltd. This new United Kingdom subsidiary is based in Leatherhead, Surrey. Operations commence in January 2012 and will be headed by Keith James, Managing Director.

The Avantes Group has recently moved to their new World Headquarters in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. The group is a key manufacturer of Photonics and Optical instrumentation, providing ‘Solutions in spectroscopy’. Avantes has established subsidiaries in the USA and China and is supported worldwide by a network of qualified distributors.
