New universal peltier for GC inlets
May 31 2018
ASAP Analytical has introduced a novel peltier accessory that easily adapts to their TITAN PTV inlet or other manufacturers inlets, including Agilent and Gerstel CIS.
When inlets are operating in Large Volume Injection (LVI) mode, inlet cooling is necessary to achieve sub-ambient inlet temperatures and to decrease cycle times. Cryogenic gases have typically been used for this purpose. However, they are expensive, use a significant amount of lab space and pose a safety hazard. The new TITAN PCU from ASAP Analytical is an economical solution that eliminates these concerns. The TITAN PCU can be programmed to begin cooling (down to -5°C) at any time during the run and will decrease the cycle time between injections.
This inlet add-on helps to increase productivity which ultimately lowers the cost per sample run. Installation is quick and straightforward with some users experiencing an economic payback in less than one year.
