MCerts Approved Air Quality and Continuous Emissions Monitor

Enviro Technology Services Plc (ET) offers a wide range of MCERTS approved analysers and systems for Air Quality Monitoring (AQM) and Continuous Emissions Monitoring (CEM) applications. ET has ensured its products are fully compliant with MCERTS since the scheme started. The company fully understands the reasons and requirements for high quality product assessment and testing and on-going certification.
When a product or system has an MCERTS approval, it gives the user/owner confidence that the equipment has been thoroughly tested in the laboratory and more importantly in the field ensuring fitness for purpose for the exact application at hand.
Air Quality Monitoring (AQM)
For continuous air quality monitoring, ET can offer the following MCERTS approved gas analysers:
- Teledyne API M200E (T200) Chemiluminescent NOx Analyser
- Teledyne API M100E (T100) UV Fluorescence SO2 Analyser
- Teledyne API M300E (T300) IR Absorption CO Analyser
- Teledyne API M400E (T400) UV Absorption O3 Analyser
Hundreds of these analysers are used throughout the UK and they are used extensively on Defra’s AURN network. ET is also pleased to now launch the new Teledyne T-Series ambient gas analysers which are also MCERTS approved. The new analysers most versatile and capable on the market as they are the most technologically advanced, but are also easy to use and very flexible.
Continuous Emissions Monitoring (CEMS)
At the heart of ET’s CEMS capability is the MCERTS approved Opsis cross-duct, non-contact multi-gas system. Utilising advanced optical DOAS technology (differential optical absorption spectroscopy) Opsis measures a wide range of gases in the UV and IR wavelengths including SO2 NO NO2 CO CO2 HCl H2O HF and NH3. For other legislated parameters for WID (waste incineration directive) and LCPD (large combustion plant directive) processes, ET offers a choice of particulate monitors, VOC analysers and software, all MCERTS approved.
With full project management, installation, commissioning and service and maintenance options, ET provides a totally flexible “turn-key” solution for process operators and EPC’s.

He continues “Before MCERTS it was almost a case of anything goes with regards to CEMS and this led to many totally inappropriate analysers and systems being sold and installed at industrial processes with a resulting wide variation in terms of data quality and control.
Now that MCERTS is an obligatory requirement for regulated processes that fall under WID and LCPD etc. process operators and regulators alike can have far greater confidence in their
CEMS data which can only be a good thing for everyone.
