Partnership to provide UK and Ireland with cutting-edge, precision multi-parameter indicative outdoor pollution sensors
Jan 19 2024
Enviro Technology Services Ltd (ET), has announced an exclusive partnership with dnota to bring the award-winning bettair® node to the UK and Ireland.
Widely perceived as the most accurate outdoor multi-pollutant sensor in the world, the bettair® node will empower smart cities and organisations in efforts to reduce levels of air pollution.
Setting itself apart from other sensors, the bettair® node measures an extensive spectrum of air pollution indicators which includes NO2, NO, CO, O3, SO2, H2S, CO2, PM10, PM2.5, and PM1.0 along with ambient noise levels and other environmental specifications. Unlike any other small-form air quality sensors currently available in the British Isles, the bettair® node includes class 2 – upgradable to class 1 - sound level measurements as standard, therefore offering a perfect solution to organisations that need precise and complete measurement data covering all of the necessary environmental parameters.
The bettair® node provides a fast solution, offering precise data within 5 minutes of installation on a web-based portal and facilitating the intuitive generation of populated reports for informed decision-making.
Duncan Mansour, Managing Director of Environmental Technology Services Ltd. commented “Measuring PM10 PM2.5 PM1 and noise as well as 4 customisable gas sensors as standard, no annual subscription charges, 2-years between calibrations and best-in-class accuracy and precision, we think this is going to be a game changer.”
Jorge Godoy, dnota’s Commercial and Marketing Manager at dnota, added “The dnota- Enviro Technology Services (ET) alliance is set to revolutionise the way we prioritise customer satisfaction in the UK. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, this partnership leverages cutting-edge sensor technology to provide exceptionally high-quality air measurement. The result is an unparalleled level of efficiency, ensuring that customers across the UK enjoy the purest air, setting new standards for environmental well-being.”
According to the Royal College of Physicians, poor air quality is responsible for approximately 40,000 deaths in the UK annually, while the World Health Organization has estimated that air pollution is the cause of 7 million premature deaths globally, including more than half a million children under five, and the University of Chicago's Energy Policy Institute’s research has shown that it shortens global life expectancy by 2.2 years on a global basis.
The partnership between ET and dnota will be a step forward in providing healthier environments and advancing the fight against air pollution in the UK and Ireland.
