Partnership of leading companies to offer enhanced instrumentation range and service for smart water customers
Jan 11 2021
Badger Meter, Inc. have recently announced the acquisition of Analytical Technology, Inc. (“ATi”), a highly reputable manufacturer of water quality monitoring systems. This acquisition follows on from their recent acquisition of s::can, to allow them to offer a comprehensive range of instrumentation and service to the smart water market.
With these recent acquisitions, Badger Meter will offer an extensive range of robust and scalable water quality monitoring instrumentation that enables real-time data on demand to their municipal and industrial clienteles, as well as Badger’s globally renowned, state-or-the-art flow metering solutions.
s::can, are leading providers of spectral and physical online water quality parameters, whilst ATi are world class suppliers of analytical sensor monitoring solutions for water and gas applications. The marriage of these 2 leading technology providers will offer their customers an unsurpassed level of service to the water monitoring market. The two companies complement each both their range of instruments and service as well as the geographical regions in which they operate. ATi is already very well established in the USA and the UK while s::can instruments are ubiquitous throughout the rest of Europe, Asia and Latin America.
For now, there will be little change in the day-to-day routines for these companies. The headquarters of s::can is still located in Vienna and the subsidiary offices spanning the Americas, Europe and Asia will remain open for business. s::can and ATi will be collaborating with Badger Meter on providing an even wider range of products and solutions to their long standing customers.
The future looks bright, with expanded resources, expanded water quality competence and increased know-how, which will bring additional value for all s::can, ATi and Badger Meter clients can look forward to significant improvements in product range and customer service customers across the globe.
