Association of Noise Consultants award gives entrants a chance to scoop brand new sound level meter
May 03 2019
The winner of Bruel & Kjaer UK sponsored category - Environmental (Non-Infrastructure) award - at this year’s Association of Noise Consultants’ (ANC) awards, will take home one of its stunning sound level meters - the B&K 2245 class 1 sound level meter.
Only launched this April, the B&K 2245 is Brüel & Kjær’s latest innovation, providing the user with absolute confidence and control over their noise measurement tasks, with easy-to-use apps and functionality tailored for their tasks.
Taking place 6th June in the Crowne Plaza hotel in Manchester, ANC’s awards promote and recognise excellence among UK acoustic consultants by looking for examples of work that displays innovation - and originality - in acoustic design or approach to a specific project.
As well as the Environmental (Non-Infrastructure) section, the other main headline categories include Building Acoustics, Education Acoustics and Vibration Prediction & Control. There will also be awards for Good Acoustic Design, Smaller Consultancies, Innovation and Best Presentation.
Entry for the Association of Noise Consultants’ (ANC) 2019 awards is now open to UK based acoustic consultants. Established in 2013, by the acoustic consultancies trade association, the award scheme promotes and recognises excellence among acousticians and raises the profile of the acoustics industry.
