Air Quality Monitoring
Webinar to highlight particles as part of air quality monitoring
Apr 16 2021
TSI will host a 45-minute webinar to highlight the need for particle number (PN) based counting and sizing solutions complimentary to the widely used particle mass (PM) sensors, especially for the size range of ultrafine particles (UFP < 100 nm) in air quality monitoring.
While monitoring different emission sources continuous sampling and transportation of the aerosol size fractions need to be taken into consideration. The webinar will examine the forces on aerosols during sampling that may bias the measurement and how to overcome those challenges. TSI will also present a few traditional monitoring setups with details related to optimizing the monitoring station for all instruments equally.
The specific topics to be discussed are aerosol counting and sizing, aerosol sampling and transportation, additional solutions (e.g. sampling material) and additional non-invasive solutions. This is an ideal opportunity for industry, local government, municipality representatives working on air monitoring projects, researchers and operators of air quality monitoring networks to learn about some great tricks of the trade and details of some of the cutting-edge technology available to ensure accurate and reliable air quality data.
This webinar will take place on 27th April at 14:15 (CEST)/07:15 (CST), in English and lasting for approximately 45 minutes.
