Ecotech Australia Appointed to Monitor Air Quality During COMMONWEALTH GAMES 2010

Ecotech, a leading Australian manufacturer of air quality monitoring technology, along with its business partner Envirotech India, signed a contract on the 10/05/2010 with Delhi Pollution Control Commission, New Delhi (DPCC). This contract is for the supply of four air quality monitoring stations within Delhi to examine air quality for the next five years. This project will also include air quality monitoring during the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth games, all four stations will be commissioned and operating before the Commonwealth games begin in October.
Ecotech boasts a wealth of experience in ambient air quality monitoring stations (AAQMS) having supplied the entire Victorian EPA network, along with many others throughout Australia and the world. Ecotech, along with its Indian partner Envirotech India, used this experience to ensure the DPCC have the highest quality AAQMS network.

This project adds to the increasing list of projects Ecotech have been awarded within India including: IMD- Pune, IITM- Pune, UPPCB – Luckhnow, IOC – Guwahati, Jindal Steel & Tata Power.

Ecotech & Envirotech’s partnership continues to produce expertise in operation, maintenance, data reporting and reliable after sales support for all of their customers throughout India. Many Indian environmental scientists & diplomats have visited Ecotech as a part of training courses. Indian consulate General Hon. Ms Anita Nayyar visited Ecotech in May 2008 strengthening the relationship between Ecotech and the Indian scientific & environmental communities.
