In todays’ world of ever-increasing liability and risk aversion, it is so important you make the correct decision with your instrument calibration. Having a UKAS accredited calibration helps you ensure your measurement system has the fundamental foundations for legal interrogation and provides you with added confidence in your measurement system. The Young Calibration laboratory is UKAS accredited (Lab 0604) for air flow, fluid flow, electrical, air velocity, pressure and temperature simulation.

Young Calibration’s UKAS gas and fluid flow calibration service include high accuracy water meter calibrations for infusion, batch, volume flow rate and mass flow for all types of flowmeters from 0.1% accuracy. They also offer hydrocarbon flowmeter calibration of turbine, helical, gear and coriolis flowmeters from 0.4% accuracy. With over five accredited air flow calibration rigs flowmeter calibrations across 1 cc/min to 1250 l/sec can be completed on laminar, thermal, variable area, vortex and turbines flowmeters.

For UKAS Air Velocity Calibration Young Calibration is home for the UK’s leading high accuracy UKAS accredited wind tunnel, covering 0.05 to 80 m/s. Air velocity calibrations and anemometer calibration services are completed in the UKAS accredited wind tunnels, offering extreme accuracy in both low and high-speed wind. Young Calibration offers independent, UKAS accredited air velocity calibrations for all types of pitot tubes, isokinetic probes, omni-spherical probes, vanes, cups and thermal anemometers.
