CEMS
Industrial mercury and emissions monitoring specialists head to Barcelona
Jul 17 2023
Tekran Instruments Corporation continues to refresh its current trace-level mercury analytical systems suite and develop and launch monitors and systems for new applications. Known historically for its industry-leading ambient and laboratory systems (over 1000 sold worldwide), Tekran has recently introduced systems for monitoring mercury in natural gas processing streams.
In support of HgCEMS quality control and assurance, Tekran has also introduced a combined elemental (Hg0) and oxidised mercury (HgII) generator, the 3425. This system can be provided with traceability to the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). It is also currently under evaluation at VSL in the Netherlands.
Tekran’s 4th generation continuous emissions monitoring system, the 3400 has successfully passed the TÜV QAL-1 Laboratory Certifications including the low-level (0-5 µg Hg/m3) range. This system supports a wide range of configurations for routine monitoring and research applications.
Visitors and delegates at CEM 2023 will have a great opportunity to discuss their mercury analysis applications and CEMS with some of the industry’s most knowledgeable experts by visiting the Tekran booth.
