Worried about Exposure to Airborne Sulphuric Acid Mist?
May 31 2013
SKC (UK), world specialists in air sampling technology, are proud to launch a new disposable thoracic sampler ideal for complying with the EU Workplace Exposure Limit for sulphuric acid mist.
In 2011 a new exposure limit was introduced which specified that samples taken must be in the thoracic size, rather than inhalable. In order to comply with this requirement, the Health & Safety industry has been seeking a thoracic sampler which gives reliable results every time.
The SKC disposable Parallel Particle Impactor (PPI) is precisely engineered to match the convention curve for thoracic sampling better than any other sampler on the market. Available non-preloaded or preloaded with filters and designed for single use, the disposable PPI can be used with any of SKC's standard air sampling pump to take samples for analysis. It is also available in high-flow respirable models, ideal for taking samples of respirable particulates where increased sensitivity is required - such as for respirable crystalline silica.
Tested in the UK and USA, the disposable PPI is proven to be a simple and economic answer to thoracic and respirable particulate matter sampling.
