The Complete Solution to Particulate Sampling
Aug 21 2013
Air sampling is commonly carried out to ensure that workplace or environmental air is meeting regulatory standards and to help Occupational Hygiene and Health & Safety professionals assess employee exposure to airborne hazards, especially particulates. With 50 years of leading the world in air sampling technologies, SKC (UK) can offer a range of kits to suit both workplace and environmental particulate sampling.
The SKC Dust Kits are ideal for workplace sampling for dusts from metals, woods, foodstuffs, stone, cement and others. The kits include the small and lightweight IOM Sampler for inhalable and respirable dusts, which closely simulates the way in which airborne particles are inhaled through the nose and mouth. A Cyclone is also included, specifically designed for respirable dust which eliminates the effects of ambient wind speed and orientation. Complete the kit with our extensive range of pumps.
The EPAM-5000 is an easy to use, complete portable solution for environmental monitoring of particulates. Supplied in a compact, rugged, watertight carry case with a choice of a PM10, PM2.5 or PM1.0 sampling head the internal sample pump can operate for up to 24 hours on one battery charge or continuously using the AC adaptor.
Also, available in the SKC range is the DPS Kit for ambient PM10 and PM2.5 sampling. Supplied in a compact, heavy duty lockable case it meets the needs for monitoring remote locations or indoor air sampling. The kit includes the sample pump, providing 24 hours continuous monitoring, and everything else you need including a sampling head, filter cassettes, calibration adaptor, charger and tubing.
