Environmental monitoring and remediation experts head to UK Green Gas Day 2019
May 10 2019
QED Environmental Systems, is gearing up for the highly anticipated UK Green Gas Day 2019.
QED will be on stand exhibiting its Geotech product range. Showcased on stand will be the brand’s flagship gas analyser, the BIOMETHANE 3000, alongside the BIOGAS 3000 and BIOGAS 5000 equipment.
The BIOMETHANE 3000 was developed and designed for high accuracy methane and oxygen readings for biomethane applications. Since its launch in early 2018, the market-leading BIOMETHANE 3000 has set a new standard in biomethane gas analysis globally. The product was developed in partnership with leading plant providers and in response to customer demand. The BIOMETHANE 3000 complements Gas Chromatograph (GC) measurements, delivering real time monitoring and remote access to ensure balanced gas composition levels and optimised gas-to-grid operations.
The BIOGAS 3000, ATEX and IECEX certified, aims to provide landfill and biogas users a strong gas analysis technology that is both cost-effective and robust. The BIOGAS 3000 measures CH4, CO2 and O2 as standard, but can also measure up to an additional two additional gases – CO, H2 or H2S. The product is customisable, as with most QED products, to suit specific landfill and anaerobic digestion site requirements.
Dean Kavanagh at QED said: “We are extremely excited to have the opportunity to showcase our range of fixed and portable biogas products at UK Green Gas Day 2019. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about any technical developments and policy changes in the industry, whilst also giving QED the chance to show those in the biogas industry what we have to offer.”
Also on stand will be QED’s BIOGAS 5000 - an easy to use portable monitor that enables users to collect consistent data for improved analysis and accurate reporting, whilst helping to check the digester process is running efficiently. The product has a robust and high-quality design, fit for the most hazardous anaerobic digestion sites.
UK Green Gas Day 2019 will see participation of over 300 delegates, with exhibition stands from all the major suppliers in the biomethane industry. The focus of the day is to brief the industry on new policy that may have developed and on technical developments that are relevant to green gases.
Taking place at the National Motorcycle Museum on the 8th May, the UK Green Gas Day 2019 is set to be an exciting day for the industry.
