Ease of Use Meets Accuracy in Reporting

The BIOGAS 5000 is Geotech’s key product in the portable gas analyser sector which promises ease in calibration, configuration and collection of data. This will significantly support users in collecting data consistently and will contribute towards improved analysis and accurate reporting.

The analyser also provides the necessary checks to ensure that the digester process is running efficiently. This can be done by providing users with the insights needed to change gas levels for optimum performance.

With its robust high quality design, BIOGAS 5000 is fit for use in the most hazardous AD sites. Beyond measuring methane (CH4), carbon dioxide (CO2) and oxygen (O2), it also measures optional gasses such as hydrogen (H2), ammonia (NH3) and hydrogen sulphide (H2S).

Available with a built-in multilingual menu, the analyser can be programmed in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Chinese, and comes with a three-year warranty. Its quality has also been proven via the highest accreditation standards. These include ATEX, MCERTS, CSA and UKAS Calibration (ISO17025).

The main gas reading screen has been expertly created for users to view key information concisely and clearly in order to provide essential readings and comparisons. Beyond that, BIOGAS 5000 also boasts easy to use menu navigation, on board technical help, waterproof keypads and a waterproof USB port that enables users to download data directly to their computers. The analyser also comes with additional features such as the Optional Gas Analyser Manager Software (GAM) for ID set up and data download as well as Geotech’s ‘best in class’ infra-red bench technology.

With the BIOGAS 5000, users need not perform a self-certification of anemometer as the analyser validates its results. It also adheres to the strict PPC compliance and can be configured for each customer’s unique specification.

With the firmware update announced by Geotech recently, users of BIOGAS 5000 will also be able to upload multiple routes, which make it easier and quicker for users to keep track of their monitoring processes. Users can also enjoy extended functionality for alarms, which include flow, temperature and pressure as well as the ability to set targets for all of these settings.

The increased number of ID questions and characters enable users to program in more precise and detailed site information. Consequently, users can also set an ID up to take two relative pressure readings, one at the start of the read process and one at the end.
