US Army Contract for Air Analysis Specialists

Environnement SA (France) recently delivered a turnkey analysis system contract to the US Army. Due to the requirements of the clients’ particular application, a bespoke cabinet, which housed all of the analysers, the sampling, all the pumps and filtration system was designed and built by the Environnement SA team. The cabinet includes FID/CLD and NDIR analysers for monitoring Total Hydrocarbons, NOx, NO, NO2, CO, CO2, O2 and CO2 EGR in a heated version and measures 42 U (1.8669 m) in height. The EGAS (Exhaust Gas Analysis System) cabinet will be dedicated primarily to the development and the certification of the US Army "Heavy Duty” engines. This exciting challenge for Environnement SA gave them a great opportunity to use their expertise, flexibility and creativity to integrate an analyser system to work within a very strict and specific criteria.
