ET Breaks New Ground for Trace Analysis with Picarro
Feb 22 2008
Manufactured by US company Picarro, the new range of trace gas analysers is capable of measuring multiple gas species with a single analyser, providing highly accurate results.
The products use CRDS (Cavity Ringdown Spectroscopy) technology, a laser based, optical technique thatâs highly sensitive and highly reliable. The units can be set up straight from the box in under an hour, require little or no sample preparation, negligible calibration and are capable of running unattended over the long-term.
Applications include semi-conductor processing, medical research, petrochemical companies and automotive industries, as well as atmospheric monitoring of greenhouse gases,NH3,CO2 and inversion measuring.
