AGT-PSG’s MAK10 range of refrigerated and thermoelectric coolers are designed to meet the highest criteria of sample gas quality. MAK10 offers additional options such as pre-separators, filters, flowmeters, acid dosages, humidity sensors and sample gas pumps. This unit can effectively be configured to meet any operator’s specific needs.

MAK10 sample gas coolers can be enhanced to fit all integrated sample gas conditioning systems thanks to its versatile, modular design. The precise proportional temperature control in combination with the long-lasting hot-gas bypass system and the innovative corrosion resistant PTFE/PVDF heat exchangers achieves extremely low constant dew points. In Addition, load fluctuations and high thermal stress is compensated reliably. The hydrophobic corrosion resistant PTFE coating, the optimised internal geometry and the very short retention time in the heat exchanger ensure a very low gas dissolution rate. Additionally for applications with very low measuring ranges like CEMs the ingenius “Twister” heat exchanger design is applied. Due to flow induced centrifugal forces arising, condensate is separated reliably from the gas phase and ensures minimal contact between sample gas and condensate resulting in a negligible wash out ratio of water soluble gas components like SO2. The permanent separation of the condensate from the gas phase, as well as the shorter contact time and chance of the gas in the system, play an important part in MAK10’s unsurpassed efficiency.
