At our recent Air Quality and Emissions event, Dr. Sarah Moller from the Science and Technology Facilities Council gave an overview of their air quality network, the SAQN.

- The origins and aims of the SAQN and the STFC
- How the STFC’s computational expertise aids research within the SAQN
- The type of studies funded by the SAQN
- How the SAQN can be accessed by researchers, government officials and industry

Dr. Sarah Moller (University of York)
A Senior Research Fellow at the University of York, Dr. Sarah Moller also manages the Defra Air Quality Expert Group, which works to develop communication between officials and academics. Dr. Moller is a member of the National Centre for Atmospheric Science. She also sits on the Natural Hazards Partnership Steering Group and Science Strategy Group.

Jim Mills is the Managing Director of Scotswolds, Ltd., a consultancy specialising in air monitoring technology. Educated in Scotland, with a focus on chemistry, Jim is a regular speaker at national and international conferences on air quality, has co-authored papers on air quality monitoring and has provided technical expertise to support news and documentary programmes.
