A Range of Products on Show and Workshops to Attend at WWEM 2014
Jul 24 2014
WWEM Conference continues to introduce innovation into industries that are governed by ever more demanding environmental legislation. This year ESSLAB (UK) will focus on the growing need to improve sample preparation efficiencies and the means by which laboratories may achieve metrological traceability.
The integrity of analytical data required to satisfy Environment Agency inspection may only be assured through the use of methods and materials that are supported with documents providing evidence of traceability.
Whilst development of instruments has greatly increased analytical sensitivity, the means by which samples and standards are prepared in many laboratories has changed little in over 100 years. We will be reviewing how laboratories currently prepare samples for analysis and materials for quality control, presenting new innovative liquid handling methods which greatly enhance efficiency, accuracy and precision.
Workshops related to the preparation of custom standards which are supported by ISO 17025 Guide 34 and assure your laboratory is able to demonstrate traceability between measured results of the measured standard references, and that of the measured sample will also be given.
ESSLAB will demonstrating the new Hamilton liquid handling system on stand 108 and able to discuss the Inorganic Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) from Inorganic Ventures and Accredited Standards both of whom have Guide 34 certification that may allow you to achieve to analytical targets.
