Partech Instruments Takes on the Challenge of Phosphate in Wastewater
Oct 16 2008
essential part of the UK urban wastewater and related directives.
Many more treatment works have Phosphorus discharge consents, but
with the continuing high levels of Phosphate in untreated water staying
within consent is a continuing problem.
Partech Instruments has developed a closed loop feed forward control inlet dosing system for the removal of Phosphate that is now being used by water companies throughout the UK. Based on the proven MicroMac C, this reliable and cost-effective approach can assist in achieving optimum dosing pump performance leading to considerable savings in chemical usage. The MicroMac C analyser incorporates a loop flow analysis (LFA) system a highly flexible technique that allows the analyser to cope with the high level of background Turbidity associated with raw sewage.
