Groundwater Monitoring
The Future of Water Quality Monitoring
Oct 08 2014
New smarTROLL™ Handheld with Smartphone App* combines industry-leading water quality sensors with
revolutionary smartphone mobility. The intuitive iSitu™ Application reduces training time and runs on your
iPhone®, iPod touch®, or iPad® device.**
Simply connect the smarTROLL Multiparameter (MP) Probe to an In-Situ® RuggedCable® and battery
pack, launch the iSitu App, and start reading results. No warm-up time or tedious setup. The iSitu App
guides you through spot checks, calibrations, and data management. The separate Low Flow App eases
your way through Low Flow Sampling.
The smarTROLL Probe measures 14 parameters:
- Chemical parameters: Dissolved oxygen, pH, ORP, conductivity (actual or specific), salinity, total dissolved solids, resistivity, and density.
- Physical parameters: Air and water temperature, barometric pressure, water level, and water pressure.
Low Flow Sampling
Choose the NEW smarTROLL Handheld Low Flow Sampling System for quality controlled logging of stability parameters, informing you when you have stability, during low flow groundwater sampling programmes.
The smarTROLL Handheld not only does everything you would expect from a ruggedised environmental
monitoring instrument but also provides industry-leading RDO technology, flow cell and, using In-Situ’s
unique Low Flow App, will guide you through the low flow sampling process, log water quality data and
seamlessly transfer data - via WiFi signal - from field to office - instantly.
Be Mobile
- Transport the smarTROLL System anywhere - Reduce field equipment requirements for routine monitoring and low-flow sampling events.
- Instantly collaborate with colleagues - Use wired or wireless connection to send real-time snapshots of data.
- Streamline data management - Consolidate all site information on your Smartphone and tag data with site photos and GPS coordinates. Log data to your Apple device and download results in a standardised file format.
Be Smart
- Eliminate errors - Smart sensors automatically recognize calibration solutions, store calibration data in the sensors, and automatically perform diagnostics. The factory pre-calibrates sensors with NIST®-traceable standards (where applicable), so that you can start monitoring immediately.
- Reduce maintenance - Robust sensors stand up to field use and calibrations can last for months.
- Get accurate DO results - Logic automatically compensates for barometric pressure and salinity.
Be In-Situ
- Receive free application and deployment guidance.
- Get free, 24/7 technical support and mobile help in the field.
- Order supplies from the In-Situ e-store with your Smartphone.
- Market-leading technical support.
