Groundwater Monitoring
A new approach to groundwater monitoring
May 16 2019
iFLUX have developed a unique approach to accurate groundwater monitoring to ensure that environmental remediation professionals can implement the most cost effective and efficient technology for soil remediation projects.
iFLUX have undertaken many projects across Europe in which they will work with local environmental consultants and remediation professionals to ensure that they have the full picture on groundwater pollution. iFLUX’s technology allows them to monitor both the dispersion and contamination level of groundwater over a prolonged time period. iFLUX’s capability to monitor both the direction and speed of groundwater contamination is a major break from the traditional methods used. This enables iFLUX to deliver highly accurate data and give precise details of the dispersion risks of soil contamination.
A project will begin with iFLUX carrying out a preliminary site investigation, as well as taking input from the client. They then install iFLUX’s cutting edge samplers on site to monitor the groundwater activity over a long enough period of time to gain enough data to implement an effective remediation strategy. Once the samplers are retrieved, they are taken to a partner laboratory and a certified lab analysis of the material is carried out. The resultant, validated flow field distortion calculations will give a highly accurate and detailed view of the nature and extent of the groundwater’s contamination. iFLUX’s final report will contain clear and comprehendible graphs and maps of the designated area that has been monitored.
