Gas detection
Intelligent Transmitter/Controller for Gas Monitoring and Detection
Sep 03 2015
Work environments where personnel handle chemicals or gases in enclosed spaces require a warning to depleted oxygen levels or presence of other gases.
The GASTRACK Intelligent Transmitter/Controller (ITC) from SST Sensing (UK) has been developed to meet the needs of customers requiring the monitoring of one or two gases in laboratories, cellars, factories and other industrial areas.
The affordable, wall-mounted ITC System is designed to measure the concentration of any gas in the vicinity. The measured levels can be displayed or indicated locally; or they can be transmitted to a remote monitoring system. Analogue outputs and relays can be configured to enable the ITC to directly control external devices.
Configuring the product or calibrating the sensors is made extremely simple. There is no need for multimeters and screw-drivers. Units with the optional LCD display can be configured from the front panel. Units without a display are configured using a plug-in configurator/calibrator.
The ITC is completely configurable at time of ordering, allowing you to customise the system to meet your specific application needs. This includes the option of numerous output types and communications interfaces and the possibility of setting alarm levels for any of the on-board sensors.
Specification: Up to 2 gas sensors (CO2, O2, others upon request), up to 2 Analogue Outputs; 4-20mA or 0-10VDC, up to 2 relays (SPST Normally Open), audio and visual alarms; bi-colour LEDS and buzzer, 24VAC/DC or mains voltage supply, and communications output options including RS232, RS485 or Ethernet.
