Upgraded MIPEX-02 with power consumption less than 1 mW

MIPEX-02 two-beam NDIR optical sensors family is well known for its low power consumption. Many manufacturers use it in their designs to provide longer battery life.  Upgraded version offers advantage of 300 µA average operating current in standard fourth series form factor keeping untouched metrological performance of initial version.  This is the only choice in the market.

Instruments utilising older MIPEX-02 can use upgraded model without any expenses to adopt it as sensor keeps the same interface and intrinsically safe circuit parameters.

Upgraded models can be used to measure concentrations of methane, propane and heavier hydrocarbons as well as carbon dioxide.
