Versatile and precise flue gas monitor

Prima’s FGM (Flue Gas Monitor) measures exhaust gases in boilers, furnaces, heaters, and kilns to improve combustion efficiency and reduce pollutant gases released from these industrial sources.

The portable version of the FGM features a microprocessor and architecture to ensure ease of use and trouble-free operation. Prima has endeavoured to make this device extremely cost-effective and reliable.

The FGM incorporates microprocessor key controls that are fully menu-driven. Stored data can be viewed or downloaded to a computer or printed by an external printer. An integrated pump draws flue gas through the built-in temperature and gas probe. An inbuilt, rechargeable battery powers the instrument.

Prima’s FGM measures O2, CO, CO2, temperature/ambient temperature, flue gas, and excess air. It calculates net and gross efficiency and can optionally measure SO2, NO, NO2, and HC.

This analyser is a real-time and date processor system that can be user-programmed to suit the specific needs of the end user. Details that can be logged include the company surveyed, the equipment, and details of all selected parameters of each reading, and data are logged in the built-in memory device. The formulae for nine standard fuels are pre-programmed, and operators can use the user-programmable facility for nonconventional fuels like husk, wood, bagasse, etc.

The FGM also includes auto and manual sampling modes and a robust, state-of-the-art gas/temperature probe with an integral filter and a cooler. An extruded molded rubber hose differentiates this instrument from other analysers. In addition, the FGM features auto oxygen calibration at start-up and a report menu enables operators to view and print data and select a specific set of readings for printing.
