Gas detectors and control panels achieve BS EN 61010 Standard

IGD’s 750 series of control panels and gas detectors are now approved to the BS EN 61010-1:2010+A1:2019 and UL 61010 standards. This ensures that users will not be endangered by hazards caused by electronic equipment, such as electric shock or burn.

BS EN61010-1:2010+A1:2019, or BS EN61010, is a safety standard for electrical equipment used in measurement, control, and laboratory devices. There is a plethora of instrumentation that could be BS EN61010; a vast majority of which consists of electrical test and measurement equipment, including equipment built into manufacturing processes and used for testing manufactured devices.

The BS EN 61010 standard is accepted in countries across Europe and beyond. Whilst the name BS EN refers to a British standard, it also meets the criteria of the UL and CSA standards of the same code. Therefore, you can be sure that IGD’s systems are approved to the highest safety standards and comply to your national regulations.
