Miniaturised Detector for Gas Analysis to be Presented at WWEM

The LRM-254, from InfraTec (Germany), is a miniaturised four channel detector in TO39 housing, with an aperture of only five millimetres. In its cap a central window has been added. This robust broadband filter, e.g. made of sapphire, offers excellent protection against penetrating moisture.

The channel filters are placed inside the detector – shielded from mechanical and physical  stress. They are also located even closer to the pyroelectric elements. Together with the central window integrated into the detector cap this ensures a wide FOV.

Due to its minimised stack design the LRM-254, which can even be thermally compensated, especially appeals to users who want to integrate sensors into mobile devices. Visit stand 67 at WWEM 2016 for more information.
