Registration is Now Open for 10th International Conference on Mercury

The 10th International Conference on Mercury as a Global Pollutant is pleased to announce that there registration is now open; so come and join them in Halifax, Canada!
We have received 1000 abstracts from 44 different countries for presentation at this important conference for the discussion of science and policy issues related to mercury in the environment. We will have 21 special sessions and 15 general sessions for presentation by experts on many different aspects of mercury research and several short courses prior to the conference. For the first time, the Kathryn R. Mahaffey Lifetime Achievement Award in Mercury Research will be awarded to honour the best of the best.
We have some fantastic plenary speakers lined up to present the broader view of mercury following the conference theme of Air, Land, Sea. Open to the public on July 24th there will be an afternoon of information where you can see the impact this pollutant has on developing countries and even test your hair for mercury. A great social program has been planned for conferees including east coast music, maritime activities, good food and lots of Canadian culture and Halifax hospitality!
