Smallest Battery-Powered 2W Xenon Flash Lamp Module for Spectroscopy Instruments
Oct 15 2012
Hamamatsu Photonics (UK) has announced the release of a new ultra-compact xenon flash lamp module for use in compact spectroscopy instruments for environmental and medical analysis. The L12336 is the world’s smallest 2W xenon flash lamp module, measuring only 42 x 42 x 38 mm. It features a built-in trigger socket, offers battery-powered operation and delivers a long lamp lifetime of 1.0 x 10⁹ flashes, in addition to highly stable operation (0.5% CV) and a maximum repetition rate of 1250 Hz.
These features make it an ideal, easy to use light source for compact spectroscopy and portable instruments for high-precision environmental monitoring or point-of-care testing.
