Portable monitor for reliable water safety analysis at source
Sep 29 2020
The DelAgua water testing kit was developed in 1985 by the University of Surrey in collaboration with Oxfam. It was originally designed to monitor the quality of drinking water at source in remote rural communities where there is no access to a laboratory. Today the DelAgua kit has many different variations and is used in over 150 countries, helping to monitor the safety of drinking water for millions of people.
The DelAqua Single Incubator Kit can carry out six basic water tests to determine the quality of drinking water. Thermotolerant (faecal) coliform counts can be obtained within 16 to 18 hours giving reliable indication of sanitary risk. The kit also tests for turbidity, free and total chlorine, pH and temperature. The kit is robust, reliable and can operate in the most challenging situations. The incubator is portable even during the incubation phase, this allows samples to be processed immediately, giving highly reliable results and saving user time. Also guaranteed to perform five incubation cycles from one charge. Each kit is supplied with a complete pack of consumables for 200 tests and upgrades and accessories are available to increase the scope of your water quality testing.
