Housings and elements from Classic Filters (UK) are suitable for a wide range of coalescing and particulate filtration applications. Liquids can also be removed from gases with porous PTFE-membranes. These allow only molecules of gas or vapour to pass through and are suitable for protecting analysers and other instruments.

Classic Filters (stand 64) also manufactures fast-loop and bypass housings that minimise the time delay associated with sample systems. A relatively high flow is used to get the sample close to the analyser, before the low flow sample is split using the filter housing, with the rest of the flow being returned to the process. This allows a continuous flushing of the filter element, greatly increasing its service life as well as reducing the internal volume of the system.
