ISO Guide 34:2009 Accreditation Acheived

Chem Service (USA) has achieved their ISO Guide 34:2009 accreditation for Organic Certified Reference Materials. The full system assessment consisted of an assessment of Chem Service’s quality management system and technical requirements.

Developed by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) Guide 34:2009, specifies general requirements in accordance with which a reference material producer has to demonstrate that it operates, if it is to be recognised as competent to carry out the production of reference materials.

ISO Guide 34:2009 is considered to be the pinnacle of Quality Assurance accreditations for certified reference material producers. It focuses solely on the production of certified reference materials.

ISO Guide 34:2009 accreditation is essential for reference material producers to remain competitive in the ever-evolving, more demanding testing and calibration industry. Achieving ISO Guide 34:2009, Chem Service continues to illustrate their focus on providing their customer’s with the highest quality product possible.

Chem Service is celebrating their 50th anniversary in the industry and has one of the largest pesticide and metabolite standards product lines in the world. They are also ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited and ISO 9001:2008 certified.
