For three days, high-quality laboratory equipment and the latest analysis devices were the focus of the third analytica Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City. 114 exhibitors from ten countries presented their exhibits to more than 3,400 trade visitors. The content in the program of related events, which included the analytica Vietnam Conference as well as several workshops, tutorials and the Exhibitor Forum, was also convincing. analytica Vietnam took place from April 17 – 19.
Interest in the third analytica Vietnam was stronger than ever. The fair featured a large number of exhibitors from China, Great Britain, India, Japan and Spain. There were also joint national exhibits from Germany, France and Spain. This year’s exhibition featured more than 3,400 trade visitors. Susanne Grödl, Exhibition Director for analytica in Munich, is pleased with the successful outcome of analytica’s newest spinoff: “There is a great deal of demand for high-quality laboratory equipment, particularly in the food and pharmaceuticals industries. However, to ensure ongoing growth in the years to come, we will continue to address new branches of industry more vigorously.”
Presentations by international and Vietnamese experts at the analytica Conference kept venues full. Above all, the topics of quality control, food safety, environmental analysis and mass spectrometry were in great demand among the 235 participants.
The practice-oriented workshops and tutorials, where renowned scientists such as Professor Boos from the University of Munich’s School of Medicine and Professor Huber from Labcompliance presented user solutions, were with 48 participants also popular attractions. analytica Vietnam 2013 was organised by Messe München International (Germany) and its subsidiary IMAG (International Fair and Exhibition Service) as well as the National Agency for Science and Technology Information (NASATI).
