Along with the rapid progress of biotechnology, its applications have also boomed. The 12th Five-Year-Plan specifically made biotechnology a pioneering pillar industry for the nation’s future, giving a strong boost to this already highly valued area. Cutting-edge technologies like genomics, proteomics, stem cells and bio-medicine have made numerous breakthroughs in the past decade – a strong indication that life sciences and biotechnology studies have achieved dominant position in scientific research.
As a product of the progress in biotechnology, IVD reagents have developed strongly as the technology grows. The improved health awareness and medical insurance system also gave it a strong push. Now, the IVD reagents industry has become the most active and fastest-growing one in the world. analytica China 2014 will highlight the leading technologies mentioned and promote the development of biotechnology, life sciences and diagnostics.
High-caliber academic conferences have always been the highlight of analytica China. Apart from the much-accredited Shanghai International Symposium on Analytical Chemistry, Shanghai International Forum on Food Safety, Sino - German Satellite Symposium, Stem Cell Technology and Clinical Application Conference and The Forum on Testing Technologies of Mobile Laboratories, more workshops on biomedicine and laboratory technology will be organised to address the Chinese market, promote the connection between the industry, research and education and better serve the exhibitors and visitors.
