Dust monitoring
New Real-time silica dust monitor
Sep 07 2022
Trolex, the leading manufacturer of health and safety technology products for workers operating in hazardous environments, has developed, over 9 years, the world’s first real-time detector for silica particulates, the Air XS.
Silica is the biggest risk to construction workers after asbestos, and an estimated 600,000 workers are exposed to silica each year in the UK, with 12,000 deaths caused from workplace dust inhalation.
Trolex is on a mission to help you reduce, and even go some way to saving lives, through simple, accurate real-time dust monitoring, that prompts employees to wear the right PPE and employers to install the right dust control measures.
Trolex will have the Air XS demo unit on the stand for you to see it for yourselves, alongside a personal monitor, the XD One, and a static dust monitor, the Air XD.
