Xybion completes acquisition of Autoscribe Informatics, to expand its Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) capabilities

Xybion Corporation have recently announced the acquisition of Autoscribe Informatics. This acquisition represents a considerable strategic expansion in Xybion’s global Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) business.
UK based Autoscribe are a globally renowned LIMS software provider, with subsidiaries in the US and Australia. Autoscribe LIMS provide multi-industry domain solutions; over 140 customers use their easy to use and configure software. The acquisition is a significant step forward in Xybion’s mission of simplifying lab operations and speeding up innovation through fast-tracking lab digitisation and information management SaaS solutions.
Dr. Pradip K. Banerjee, CEO of Xybion, commented, “The acquisition of Autoscribe marks a significant strategic milestone in Xybion’s expansive growth strategy. This acquisition will augment Xybion’s position in the life sciences and health sectors while expanding its horizon into markets including petrochemicals, environmental and water analysis, food and beverage, manufacturing and mining.
The combined capabilities fo Austoscribe and Xybion’s will help customers with cloud enabled, modern LIMS software with embedded quality management, document management, data management, compliance, and safety modules.
