Fuel and energy conference sponsored attracts sponsorship from gas analysis specialists

The upcoming second FERIA Conference will take place at the University of Sheffield from 4th to 6th September 2023; it will attract a global audience and cover a wide range of highly topical themes.

Signal Group Managing Director James Clements says: “The European Conference on Fuel and Energy Research and Its Applications is an ideal sponsorship opportunity for Signal, because so many of our customers come from this sector.

“A high proportion of our gas analysers are used for combustion emissions analysis, with many of them employed in research and development. The FERIA Conference will therefore provide us with an opportunity to show customers the latest technical developments in gas analysis instrumentation, communications and software, whilst also learning about their changing requirements.”

The FERIA Conferences are organised by the Fuel and Energy Research Forum which brings together wide-ranging international interests in fuel and energy research, with a particular focus on waste, biomass and fossil fuels. In addition to a poster display, there will be three sessions running concurrently, offering delegates more than 100 different presentations on themes such as carbon capture, ammonia and blended fuels, hydrogen, anaerobic digestion, gasification, pyrolysis of plastic waste, combustion efficiency, NOx emissions reduction etc. “Many of the presentations will include gas analysis,” James says, “So this will be an ideal opportunity for us to promote the bespoke monitoring solutions that we are able to provide.”

Signal’s exhibition stand at the FERIA event will feature the company’s latest gas analysers which have detachable tablet screens, as well as the remote connectivity which is built into all of Signal Group’s Series 4 instruments.
