    Particulate Dust Measurement Instrumentation Wins Award for Innovation in Baden Württemberg,

    Franz Untersteller, State Minister for the Environment, honoured the winners of the Environmental Technology Award of the German Federal State of Baden-Württemberg at a prestigious award ceremony in the Schwabenlandhalle in Fellbach. This was the fifth occasion that Baden-Württemberg’s Ministry of Environment, Climate and Energy Industries had awarded this biannual prize for novel and innovative technologies in environmental engineering. The award, worth a total of € 100,000, is awarded in four categories and a special award by the jury. This year, 80 companies from Baden-Württemberg had applied with their processes and products, and 24 of them were shortlisted. With the Fidas® product line of particulate dust measurement devices, Palas® GmbH from Karlsruhe were placed second in the category of measuring, control and regulation technology and Industry 4.0.

    “Being awarded at the Environmental Technology Award is a great success and at the same time an incentive to fashion our further work likewise innovatively and with the environment in mind”, said Leander Mölter, CEO of Palas® GmbH, at the award ceremony. “With the more than 600
    Fidas® particulate dust measurement device delivered worldwide, even today our company already contributes to reliable detection of particulate pollution in predominantly regulatory use. We want to contribute with our measuring instruments in the future as well to providing a basis for the detection of particulate dust levels without delay, in order to support further technologies, such as specifically on the dust levels adapted traffic management”, Mölter continued.
